This statement relates to actions and activities during the current financial year.

As a responsible business, we are absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities, and to ensuring that our supply chains are free from these practices.

2. Organizational Structure and Supply Chains

The Car Rental Centre operates as a car rental broker and digital booking platform. We facilitate vehicle rentals by connecting customers with a network of trusted global and independent vehicle rental providers.

Our supply chains primarily include:

• Vehicle rental partners and fleet suppliers.
• IT and digital infrastructure providers (hosting, web development, software).
• Professional services (marketing, legal, accounting, customer support).

Given the nature of our business as a digital brokerage, we assess the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low. However, we remain vigilant to risks within our wider supply chain, particularly concerning secondary and manual services utilized by our vehicle rental partners (such as outsourced vehicle valeting, cleaning, and maintenance).

3. Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our anti-slavery policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

We operate the following policies that describe our approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and steps to be taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our operations:

• Whistleblowing Policy: We encourage all workers, customers, and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, the organization. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
• Code of Conduct: Our code makes clear to our team the actions and behavior expected of them when representing the organization. We strive to maintain the highest standards of ethical behavior when operating our platforms and managing our supplier relationships.
• Supplier Expectations: We are committed to ensuring that our suppliers adhere to the highest standards of ethics. We expect our rental partners and digital service providers to demonstrate that they provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect, and act ethically and within the law in their use of labor.

4. Due Diligence Processes

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we undertake due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers, and we regularly review our existing partners. Our due diligence and reviews include:

• Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new vehicle rental partner before integrating them into our booking platform.
• Prioritizing partnerships with established, reputable rental brands that have their own robust, publicly available modern slavery policies and compliance measures in place.
• Building long-standing relationships with trusted suppliers and making clear our expectations of business behavior.
• Retaining the right to invoke sanctions against suppliers that fail to meet these ethical standards, up to and including the termination of the business relationship and removal from our booking platform.

5. Risk Assessment and Management

We actively assess risk based on the geographical location of our suppliers and the nature of the services they provide. While our direct operations are UK-based, we recognize that our global network of rental providers operates in regions with varying levels of risk. We mitigate this by relying on our supply chain mapping and enforcing strict vetting criteria for any new rental provider wishing to list their vehicles through The Car Rental Centre.

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide relevant guidance to our team. This ensures anyone involved in procurement, partner onboarding, or operations can recognize the signs of modern slavery and knows exactly how to report any concerns.
